I constructed this board by hand in my workshop in the Southern Highlands, NSW, this end-grain chopping board combines the warm glow of cherry with black walnut, and American Oak.
I really like the contrast between the warm tones of the cherry and the darker walnut to the blonde of the oak. Each piece of timber has its own character, making every board a little different.
End-grain construction is durable and gives your knives a good cutting surface. The board is solid works just as well for everyday food prep as it does for serving.

Looking after your board
To keep it in good condition, wash by hand with warm water and mild soap, dry thoroughly and never put it in the dishwasher or leave it soaking. A fresh coat of food-safe mineral oil or board wax every now and then will help keep the timber looking its best.
I supply each board comes with a care guide to help you look after it for years to come.
