I have constructed this chopping board using three different timbers: Black Walnut, White Oak and Cherry. The combination of dark walnut, lighter oak and warm cherry creates a distinctive pattern of stripes and blocks.
The board is made using end-grain construction, making it suitable for everyday food preparation. The different timber colours also make it a nice piece to leave on display in the kitchen or use for serving cheese, charcuterie and other foods.
