Handmade not Mass Made
Transform your kitchen prep with a professional-grade centerpiece that is as kind to your knives as it is beautiful on your counter. Hand-built in my Southern Highlands workshop, this board combines the exotic, Black Walnut with the list dusty red of Cherry. This isn't just a kitchen tool—it’s a functional work of art designed to last a lifetime.
Why Choose End-Grain?
-
Self-Healing Surface: Unlike standard boards, the vertical wood fibers "part" for your blade and close back up, preventing deep scars and unsightly knife marks.
-
Saves Your Knives: Designed for the serious cook, the end-grain construction acts as a cushion, keeping your expensive kitchen knives sharper for significantly longer.
-
Naturally Hygienic: End-grain timber is renowned for its natural antibacterial properties, making it a safer choice for daily food prep.
Artisan Craftsmanship & Sustainability
-
Seasoned: Crafted from premium hardwoods, giving a second life to timber with incredible character and stability.
-
Silk-Smooth Finish: Hand-sanded through multiple grits and seasoned with a custom workshop blend of food-grade mineral oil and natural Southern Tablelands beeswax.
-
Built for Stability: At 3.6cm thick and weighing enough to stay put, this board provides a rock-solid surface for heavy-duty chopping or elegant serving.
