This stunning lightweight scarf is handwoven using a linen and cotton yarn and then accented with my handspun wool yarn to create the stripes and embroidered rosebuds. It is the perfect weight for a cool summer evening or autumn day and will get softer and softer with use.
The scarf is adorned with a simple wooden Spindle & Spool button making it an eco-conscious option, as both the fibres and button are naturally sustainable and compostable, ensuring that this handcrafted item can return to the earth after many cherished years, rather than adding to the enormous problem of textile waste produced by the mass made fashion industry.
