Beautiful assortment of cotton fabrics with various under the sea pictures of fish, whales, coral, plants, and even mermaids, make up this gorgeous tote bag, with accents of upcycled navy blue denim and lined in a pale pink with white spot poplin. There is pink topstitching around the opening and between the pictures.
I have designed this pattern myself.
The flat handles are made from denim and are topstitched in pink. During the making process, the handles are stitched in five (5) times.
The size of this bag is width 16-1/2" (42cm); height (not icluding the base) 11" (28cm); the base and sides are 5" (12.7cm); and the handles are each 17" (43.cm) long. I suggest that you handwash this bag in a mild detergent. The bag can be ironed, but you will need to put another piece of material over the label to iron it or the print will lift off.
This is a beautiful bag to use to go out casually, or as a shopping tote. It would be a great gift for someone who likes 'Under the Sea' life, or as a Christmas gift for a grandmother, mother, daughter, childs teacher, friend, or a special person in your life.
