These ´Big Sister Li´l Sister ´(kids) tote bags are part of my ´Tiny Tots Tote Bag´ range. Little girls like to carry bags just like their Mummy or older sister, so what better way, but to give them a cute little´Tiny Tots Tote´ to carry all their precious things with them? What a great Christmas gift idea for your daughters, grand-daughters, nieces, neighbours, or friends daughters.

My ´Big Sister, Li´l Sister Totes´ and my´Tiny Tots Totes´ are all made from good quality yardage and offcuts from previous bags I have made, as well as leftover quality fabrics given to me by my sister when she was making dolls clothes for 18" ´American Girl´ dolls.

I have several sets of these ´Big Sister Li´l Sister Totes´, and they are sold as a pair. Their descriptions are as follows:

First Design - The main colour of the bag is a cobalt blue with tiny white dots and white ribbon style strips with circles and crosses down the strip with a rose every now and then along the strip. The lining is a small pink and white gingham and both fabrics compliment each other.

Second design - is a King Protea floral design, the national floral emblem of South Africa and it is a gorgeous fabric of various colours of pinks, greens, greys and white. The lining is a soft pink background with small white polka dots. The handles are in the pink polka dot lining fabric.

Third design - is a fun bright predominantly pink brightly coloured fabric with rainbows, clouds, flowers with faces, the sun also with a face, butterflies, cherries and strawberries. The interior lining of the bags is a pink gingham check, and the handles are also gingham. All my ´Big Sister, Li´l Sister´ totes and my ´Tiny Tots Totes´ range come with a small coin purse. The purses for this design have different coloured snap fastenings so that the girls can differentiate which one is theirs.

The size of these bags is:

• Big Sister - width 11" (28cm); height 7" (17.8cm); and the base is 3" (7.6cm).
• Li´l sister - width 10-1/4" (26cm); height 5-1/2" (14cm); and the base is 3" (7.6cm)

I have created the pattern for these bags.

Also included with the´Tiny Tots Totes´ range are small coin purses that match the tote, both in the outer shell and the lining. So that the sisters do not get the coin purses mixed up, some of them I have put different colours snaps so they know which is theirs.

Currently I have three (3) sets of two (2) of these bags available and they are to be sold as a set, for $65 for the two bags.

I suggest that you handwash these bags in a mild detergent. The bags can be ironed, but you will need to put another piece of material over the label to iron it or the print will lift off.
