A handmade wooden bookmark featuring my original Silver Dollar Eucalyptus watercolour, created for readers who appreciate Australian botanicals, thoughtful craftsmanship and beautiful everyday objects.
Inspired by the distinctive rounded leaves of Silver Dollar Eucalyptus, I painted this design in loose washes of soft sage, silvery green and blue-grey. I wanted to capture the quiet beauty of the foliage rather than every tiny detail, allowing the watercolour to remain soft and expressive.
The watercolour paper is carefully mounted onto a slim wooden bookmark and finished with natural cotton cord. On the reverse, you'll find the Paper & Palette Studio maker's mark engraved into the wood, a little reminder of the hands and studio it came from. Each bookmark features a slightly different arrangement of the foliage, so the one you receive will have its own individual character.
At approximately 12 cm × 3 cm, it's slim enough to tuck neatly between the pages of your current read while still feeling substantial in your hand.
