A delicate botanical necklace made from an unexpected material — paper.
Inspired by the softly hanging bells of Lily of the Valley, each flower begins as paper that I individually paint in gentle washes of sage, blush, cream and earthy neutrals. The petals are then carefully formed by hand to create a dimensional flower, meaning no two necklaces will ever be quite the same.
Nestled beneath the flower is a genuine freshwater pearl, adding a beautiful natural detail and gentle movement to the pendant. The flower is finished with an 18k gold-plated bail and hangs from a delicate 45 cm adjustable 14ct gold-plated satellite chain.
Lightweight, botanical and a little different, this necklace is designed for someone who appreciates jewellery with a story behind it rather than something mass-produced.
