Inspired by the gladiolus flower, these handcrafted statement earrings are made for those who find beauty in nature and choose pieces with meaning over passing trends.
Soft watercolour blooms cascade gently from blush pink to warm cream, creating a graceful silhouette that feels both artistic and timeless.
Each flower begins as an original watercolour painting before being carefully cut, layered and assembled by hand in the Adelaide studio. The result is a pair of lightweight statement earrings that bring colour, movement and a little everyday joy without weighing you down.
Thoughtfully made from paper and finished with durable gold plated stainless steel ball studs, they're designed to become a favourite for garden weddings, long lunches, gallery visits, special celebrations or simply brightening an ordinary day.
Materials: Hand-painted paper, stainless steel gold plated ball studs and gold-coloured findings.
Length: Approximately 6 cm.
Every pair is handmade, so slight variations in colour and placement make each one uniquely yours.
Artist's note: Due to the layered construction of these earrings, Mod Podge Hard (a PVA emulsion) is used as the protective finish to provide water resistance and lasting durability.
Made with care by Paper & Palette Studio in Adelaide using thoughtfully chosen materials and a slow, handcrafted process.
