Florals meet sashiko — a combination I didn't know I needed until I made it. 🌸
This rescued pale blue denim jacket got a serious update: a hand-stitched floral patchwork panel across the back, made from fabrics in my reclaimed textile stash, then layered with sashiko-inspired embroidery that ties it all together. Slow, geometric stitching meets soft, romantic florals — two things that shouldn't work this well together but somehow do.
Up close its intricate. From a distance, it stops people in their tracks. Either way, it's one of a kind — because it is. There's only one, and there will only ever be one.
Hand-stitched, one careful movement at a time, in my little studio in Australia.
