A structured navy-blue art deco handbag with a brass antique-style clasp and a bright pink lining ā handmade one at a time in my small Australian studio.
This one started with the fabric. š A deep, dark blue with a beautiful texture that catches the light ā reclaimed, and too good to leave in a scrap pile. It asked for clean lines and confident curves, so I shaped it into a structured art deco silhouette with a brass antique-style clasp, carried on a 36cm brass-coloured chain for easy wear as a shoulder bag or clutch.
Open it up and you're met with a bright pink lining and an internal pocket ā a pop of colour you don't expect from the outside. It's a small detail, but exactly the kind I never skip.
Every bag is designed and sewn by me, one piece at a time, from recycled and reclaimed fabrics. This one is for anyone who wants to stand out in a crowd and loves wearing something no one else has.
