This adorable blue-themed tote is made with 100% of the fabric and stabiliser being second hand. The only purchased as new items are the thread, magnetic snap and my cotton business label!
Outside:
~ The main body is a patchwork of different sized blocks of blue-toned remnant fabrics. There are varying shades of blue, and a few different prints- one has cute tiny sunflowers on it!
~The patchwork is stabilised by being sewn onto a heavy-weight woven fabric that was given to me by a friend doing a craft room de-stash.
~The bag closes securely with a 14mm golden magnetic snap.
Inside:
~The lining of the bag is different fabric on each side of the inside- each a piece of remnant fabric.
~One side is a blue and white checkered fabric- with a corresponding slip pocket of the same fabric.
~The other side is a plain deep blue- with a slip pocket made from the blue/white checkers.
~The lining is reinforced with a sew-in interfacing- unsure of which brand as it was a donation.
Straps & Details:
~The bag features two wide, comfortable straps.
~ The top side is a blue coloured cotton with darker blue checkers, and the underside is the same blue woven fabric from the outer.

Materials & Upcycling
~100% of the fabric materials in this bag have all been repurposed.
~The stabiliser used was a donation from a craft-room de-stash too.
~All pre-loved textiles used in this bag are washed before being sewn.
~New materials are limited to the stabiliser, thread, hardware and label.
Please Note- Every item is individually handmade by me. While I take great care to ensure consistency, slight variations in dimensions, pattern placement and finish are a natural part of the handmade process. These individual characteristics are what make each piece unique.
Care- Gentle hand wash as required. Line dry in the shade.
OUTSIDE only- Warm to hot iron if required. As I cannot determine if the blue side of the lining is polyester- best to not iron it as it may melt.
