Welcome ! I would love you to meet Tansy. She is 15 cm tall, created in calico and DMC embroidery thread and filled with polyfill. I spend time sketching my ideas and then embroider the little person using mainly stain stitch and running stitch.
For each little person the fun is that they have a character and short story developed around them , something quirky and whimsical that makes me smile.
Here is Tansy's story--" Tansy was a glass half full kind of girl, always seeing the bright side of life. She loved her rainbow coloured onesie because... jeepers....who could choose only one favourite colour... they all sang a different song in her soul. Her nanna would clap her hands in delight and say' you are away with the fairies my darlin' girl. Tansy would twirl and grin, as that was just where she wanted to be."
Tansy is a collectable keepsake rather than a toy as the embroidery is not designed for rough and tumble play. I include a printed copy of the Tansy's story.
