Hi, my name is Bronwyn. I am the maker for Curious Quoll Handmade Designs. I have a passion for nature and I worked for 43 years in the conservation based zoo industry at Healesville Sanctuary, caring for Australian wildlife. Hence my affection for Quolls and all kinds of fascinating wildlife and flora.

I am now pursuing my love of creating and exploring the world of mixed media--working in textiles, collage, printing, painting and pen and ink.

Working with textiles is one of my favourite media as I love the feel of fabrics, thread and the shapes and forms you can create. I use embroidery and embellishments on fabric to create collectables, toys, wall hangings, brooches and whimsical things that make me happy and I hope make you happy too. Wherever possible I try to use recycled materials to give them a second life.

All items are lovingly hand crafted so that each one is unique and a little part of my soul goes into each one. One of my favourite bits is developing a special story behind my whimsical creations.
