Welcome ! I would love you to meet Jamie. He is 15 cm tall, created in calico and DMC embroidery thread and filled with polyfill. I spend time sketching my ideas and then hand embroider the little person using mainly satin stitch and running stitch. For each little person the fun is that they have a character and short story developed around them, something quirky and whimsical that makes me smile. Here is Jamies story--" Jamie was a kind hearted soul. He was the kind of lad who spent his time helping little old ladies cross the road, volunteering at the school fete bake stall, being one of the Big Buddies to the preppies when they started school and rescuing baby birds. Most of his friends wanted to be the winner of this, the best at that... have more and more things in their life. Zipping here, there and everywhere, go, go, go! No one wanted to just smell the roses anymore . Jamie just wanted everyone to be happy. He liked a chill life. His all time favourite song was... "All you need is Love"... because.... well it was true. His two little rescue dogs, Gilbert and Sullivan were always at Jamies side ready to help spread the love around...or chew up the odd sock or two... whichever ticked their fancy on the day!"
Jamie is a collectable keepsake rather than a toy as the embroidery is not designed for rough and tumble play. I include a printed copy of Jamies story.
