Store Policies

Thank you for visiting my madeit store. All my items are made solely by me at home on my domestic sewing machine. I try and make them as durable as possible, but please take care with washing and laundering to prolong your items life. Many items are photographed outside to show them off under natural light, and other times indoors with a flash, so item colours may appear slightly different when received. Please bear this in mind when choosing. I try for accurate colour pictures where possible. Items are handmade so may have slight variation in pattern placement on the item where multiple items have been made and may not exactly match the photograph. All items are made to my same high standard and any major variations will either be re-photographed or explained specifically in the item description.

PAYMENT
Please pay for your item within 3 business days. When paying via PayPal, please check your postal address for accuracy as I can't be held responsible for lost orders when the address is incorrect. Direct deposit and cash on pick up is available also, just message me for more information.

SHIPPING
The listed shipping amount includes Australia wide packaging and postage costs only. Unless insurance or parcel registration is requested, all items will be sent by ordinary mail service. Please let me know if you require registered post or express service and this will be added to your invoice. Please be aware that I make one off items most of the time so I may not be able to replace your item exactly as it was if it gets lost in the mail. Many materials cannot be purchased again. If this is a concern to you, please request registered mail at an additional cost of $3.20 (to be added to your invoice before you pay) for peace of mind.

Sometimes items sent within Victoria work out cheaper than what I have quoted, as I try to cover the cost of postage no matter where in Australia it needs to go. If this occurs, I will be happy to refund the difference.

I am happy to combine postage on multiple purchases, please do not pay until you have finished shopping, then contact me for a revised invoice.

Quoted shipping amounts are for Australia wide postage only. Please contact me for an International shipping quote. Due to insurance restrictions I am unable to post to the U.S. or Canada, I am sorry for any inconvenience.


I prefer payment via Paypal but will accept payment via direct deposit, contact me if further details are required. Please note items will not be posted until payment has been cleared.

I am also happy to organise pick up from my home and COD at a time that suits both parties.


REFUNDS AND EXCHANGES
If you are for some reason unhappy with your item after it arrives, please contact me so we can find a suitable outcome. I like happy customers, so I will be more than accommodating in trying to find a good result. If a resolution cannot be found, a full refund will be offered upon return of the item. Items must be returned in a similar packaging manner to which they were sent out, be unused and in pristine condition. Please note that the original shipping amount will not be refunded and return postage is at the buyers expense. To avoid disappointment and unnecessary costs, please choose carefully and questions are always welcome to help you make your decision.

My fabrics are always changing and if you like something in my store but it isn't quite the colour or style you are after, feel free to contact me and I might have something that suits your needs and tastes better. I source my fabrics both online and in retail stores and I can't always find more of any one fabric I have used in the past. I will endeavour to help you fulfill your wishes!
