casual socks using reclaimed yarn

These hand knitted socks are created by me from reclaimed yarn and this gives them their unique and distinct appearance. These socks evoke the colours in an ice sculpture, a frozen glacier and pale Sapphires. I find the yarn at markets and op shops. These are made as a size XL which would suit a foot which is no more than 29cm long.
I make the top of the socks loose so there is less discomfort or tightness. Ideally they are bed socks, house socks or binge-watching socks.
They are designed to be warm, cosy and above all, fun.

These socks need a little more care than your regular socks. A gentle hand wash in a quality wool wash product in warm water will keep them clean and fresh. Dry flat in shade. I do not recommend placing them in the clothes dryer.
