This hanging planter features our very own native Blue Banded Bee.
I have thrown the form on the potters wheel and when the clay is dry to the 'leather hard' stage I have added the bee.
After it has had its first firing I then paint the bee with oxide and underglaze and then apply a glaze over the rest.
It then goes in the kiln for it's final firing to reveal a beautiful shiny surface.
The planter has a hole for drainage for plant health.
The dimensions are: 8cm length x 13cm width
The total hanging length is: 54cm
