Single fused glass dove – Christmas decoration

Each dove is individually cut from Art Glass, the glass is then accessorised with a wing, beak and eye and some are decorated with gold paint. The doves are then fired in a kiln, permanently fixing the accessory glass and paint to the dove. After firing a small hole is drilled in each one and a short gold cord measuring approximately 7 cm , suitable for hanging the decoration from a card or Xmas tree is attached.

Each dove measures approximately 7 x 4.5 cm and comes attractively packaged in cellophane.

These decorations make fantastic, unique small thank you gifts for students, teachers, family and friends. Each year I introduce a new Xmas ornament to my range; this means that people who traditionally give their friends and colleagues a hand made decoration each year know that they are not duplicating the previous year’s gift. Whilst the doves are fairly sturdy, If you are sending them via Australia post please ensure they are enclosed with stiff cardboard and posted as a large letter.

Generally I have the decorations in stock, I will however contact you if I have insufficient stock and have to make more.

I make the decorations in my studio located in the lovely beach side suburb of Glenelg, South Australia. Whilst every effort will be made to match the decorations to those in the photographs due to the handmade nature of the decorations and batch lots of glass there is slight variations in their shape, size and color.
