‘Zebra’.

This has to be one of my favourite animals…….the zebra and I was fortunate enough to actually see them in the wild!

This piece would be an amazing gift for any animal lover.

I created this mosaic using a very small colour palette. The majority of the piece is made using black and white unglazed porcelain tiles, which I have hand cut to represent the zebra stripes. For the eye, I used hand cut stained glass in shades of orange, dark red and black.

The mosaic is adhered to a lightweight backing board with the hanging hardware attached, so will come ready to hang.

The finished piece measures approximately 30cm x 40cm. The subtle colour palette would look striking in any home decor.

Local pick up is available by prior arrangement from my studio in Noosaville, Queensland.
