Sunflower.

Sunflowers, always make me think of sunshine, blue skies and open fields.

It is a beautiful mosaic that would make a perfect gift for Mothers Day or that special person in your life.

This stained glass mosaic sunflower was created using hand cut stained glass in different shades of yellows. It has a brown glass centre and a small piece of green glass for the stem. The background has been kept plain and simple to allow the flower to be the main feature of the piece.

I finished the mosaic with a translucent grout to enhance all the colours of the glass. Each piece within the design has been hand cut and glued individually.

The finished mosaic has been framed in a natural finish oak float frame, which would look great in any room of the house.

The frame measures 15cm x 15cm

It comes ready to hang.
