Sunflowers, always make me think of sunshine, blue skies and open fields.

A beautiful mosaic that would make a perfect gift for Mothers Day.

This stained glass mosaic sunflower was created using hand cut stained glass in different shades of yellows. It has a brown glass centre and a small piece of green glass for the stem. The background has been kept plain and simple to allow the flower to be the main feature. I finished the mosaic with a translucent grout to enhance all the colours of the glass. Each piece within the design has been hand cut and glued individually.

The finished mosaic has been framed in a natural finish, oak float frame, which would look great in any room of the house.

The frame measures 15cm x 15cm

It comes ready to hang. Indoor use only.
