‘Books and Quill’

Bookends………..who doesn’t love a set of bookends. A perfect gift for an avid reader or just to look pretty on your book shelf!

The bookends are made using three different colours of stained glass, orange, teal and dark blue stained glass which compliment each other wonderfully.

There is a small red glass ink bottle and a white glass quill. The stopper on the bottle is black iridised glass and sparkles when the light catches it.

I have added some wire details on the books, a wire ‘bookmark’ is hanging on the dark blue book and some feather details on the quill.

To finish off, the glass piece is then slotted into a locally handmade Australian timber bookend.

The timber bookends are approximately 16cm tall x 16cm long x 2cm wide. The teal glass book does stand slightly taller than the top of the timber bookend.
