Original painting, Ripples of Peace, Gouache on Paper. It features Beerbarrel Beach, found in St Helens, Tasmania. This original piece was painted from my own personal reference photo and from an en-plein air study painted during a family trip to Tasmania.
The sun shone high above, the waves gently moved up the shore. While I painted, I could hear the laughter and chatter of families playing in the water, on the rocks and sandy shore. The giant rocks that rose out of the sand captured my attention. So many different shapes and colours. The waves gently glided over the sand, rippling it as it went. To my delight, the giant rocks reflected down onto the glass-like shore. It was so peaceful to paint.
Original, one of a kind piece. Painting comes unframed. Is mounted in a conservation mat board surround (colour: White). Both the front mat and backing are acid free. Backing is foam core board.
Painting protected from the elements inside a cellophane sleeve. It is packaged in between cardboard supports for extra protection and sent in a cardboard tough envelope.
Can be professional framed. Should you wish to frame it yourself, the mat surround has been made to fit a 20 x 25 cm (Suits 8”x10”) frame. I recommend sealing the gap between the backing board and frame with tape (eg framing tape or kraft paper tape) to avoid future dust or insect damage.
Picture size:
