This is an Art Print of my original Gouache on paper painting, Happy Place. It features the beautiful Soldiers Beach, New South Wales. The original piece was painted from my own personal reference photo taken during a holiday at Norah Head.
During the quiet of the night I could hear the waves boom on the shore. The next morning I ventured out to Soldiers Beach with my family for fish and chips. I looked down from the cliff watching the waves crash on the shore, booming as they did the night before. I soaked in the moment; the blues and greens of the sea, the reflections of the blue sky on the shore, the surfers, families walking and children playing on the seashore.
Open edition print, not numbered. Prints come unframed, with no mat surround or backing.
This image is printed in-house using Canon Lucia pro archival inks. It is printed on Ilford Galerie Smooth Cotton Rag 310 GSM, 100% Cotton Rag paper, acid free and has no optical brighteners. Print is sent protected behind glassine paper (to avoid damage to print surface) and wrapped in cellophane.
Can be professional framed. Should you wish to frame it yourself I recommend using a mat board in your frame to prevent the print from touching the glass, which can result in the print sticking to the glass and/or crinkling over time. A mat surround suitable for an A5 picture would be best fit. Also suitable would be a mat surround that features a 15.3 x 20.3 cm (6"x8") window (note: some loss of the print image width will occur). I also recommend backing it with 5mm foam core backing (acid free) and sealing the gap between the backing board and frame with tape (eg framing tape or kraft paper tape). Avoid touching printed surface.
