Description
A small Blue Tiger butterfly (Tirumala hamata) painted in watercolour with some acrylic details. The paper is a 5 x 5 cm square.
These butterflies are found in rainforests of Australia and South-East Asia, and can be seen migrating in huge numbers in northeastern Australia. Blue Tigers grow to about 7cm across and are quite a long-lived species of butterfly, sometimes surviving for over 5 months.
This painting is made to order, and as such, will vary slightly for each buyer. The artwork will be painted on 300gsm watercolour paper, signed and dated on the back. Please allow up to one week for me to have your painting created and shipped. All of my miniature paintings are packaged in recycled cardboard and posted in rigid envelopes untracked. Shipping is included in the item price.
