Large high fired dark blue stoneware mugs with a unique sturdy shape and easy to hold handle, in a speckled blue glazes, coffee mug, tea cup. Each mug is slightly different as they are hand made but the approximate size is 9cm wide x 11cm high and they comfortably hold approximately 400 ml of liquid. They are microwave and dishwasher safe if handled with care.

I throw these items on my pottery wheel and glaze and fire them in my home studio having studied at East Sydney Technical College, now the Sydney's National Art School gaining the Certificate of Studio Ceramics. These items are fired to approximately 1270 C in a solar powered electric kiln, which makes them very durable if used with care. The bottom has been ground smooth. This beautiful and functional artisan crafted ceramic mug would make the perfect gift for any occasion. These unique, attractive and useful mugs can also be used for herbal tea or chai.
