Beautiful, durable stoneware hand thrown mugs featuring traditional chinese iron and chun glazes giving a multilayered effect from dark teadust brown to glossy speckled chun white. These unique mugs are microwave and dishwasher safe and are the perfect size for offering guests coffee or tea. I make these unique, functional designs on the pottery wheel in my studio. They hold approximately 350ml of liquid and are approximately 10.5cm high and 8.5-9cm wide. The width with the handle is approx. 12.5cm. It holds approx. 350 ml so it's full enough to carry if you have a steady hand, filled to about 8mm from the rim, so not full to the brim.

Being hand made means they will have some minor variability in size, shape and glaze patterns. These attractive and useful mugs make the perfect gift and enhance your home decor.

I make these items in my home studio and fire them in an energy-efficient electric kiln using solar power, having studied at the National Art School in Sydney gaining the Studio Certificate in Ceramics. I use recycled and recyclable packaging whenever I can.
