Description:
The leaves and acorns of the oak tree have long been associated with health and vitality, with oak themed charms and amulets being extremely common throughout history. This delicate, bronze, oak leaf pendant is a replica of a similar item that was discovered during the archaelogical excavation of the medieval remains at the Rotterdam Market Hall, in the Netherlands.
Suitable as a piece of every-day jewellry, as part of a historical or fantasy costume for 'Ren Faire' attendees, or as a keychain charm.
The piece is completely hand-made by Keystone Forge, cast in jewellery-grade ancient bronze (copper and tin only) from a hand-sculpted master mould. We create our masters based on detailed study of archaeological items, then cast and hand-finish each piece in Sydney.
