This adorable figurine is our reproduction of a medieval toy that is now in the Walter's Museum.

Although simple in form, the knight holds a toothpick lance in the proper position for jousting, as a homage to the medieval sport of kings, or to hold a snack on your charcuterie platter.

The piece is a lost wax casting in jewellery-grade ancient bronze (copper and tin only), from a hand-carved master mould. We create our masters based on detailed study of archaeological items, then cast and hand-finish each piece in Sydney.

Bronze can be left to develop a natural patina with use, or polished regularly to retain the shine of a new piece.
