This pendant is made from recycled copper and enamel.
The abstract shape is hand cut from recycled copper sheet.
The front of the pendant is enamelled with a clear transparent base that has a pink glow when fired. Once cooled I’ve added clear enamel crackle lumps to the base and sprinkled a mix of yellow, grey and white. These layers are fired together in my kiln until fused to the base.
The pendant hangs from a string of leopard skin Jasper beads.
The back of the pendant is enamelled with a black enamel
The pendant measures 5.2cm wide and 3.5cm long
The pendant hangs on 3 strands of tiny teal glass seed beads.
The total length of the necklace is 45cm long
