These earrings are 100%recycled.
I use Argentium silver wire to make all of my ear hooks , every ear hook has a little piece cut from the bottom to make them the correct size. I keep these little pieces and once I have a good collection I melt them into a lovely lump of argentium silver.
This recycled lump of silver is then put through my rolling mill many times to form a sheet of silver.
The earrings are then cut out of the sheet, and are then textured using a diamond bur and jewellers hammer.
All of my earrings are hand made. I do not mass produce any of my pieces. They are also what I call ‘organic’ , they are not perfect , small imperfections add to their charm.
🤍 Tear drop shape. These teardrops are two toned. The top has a hammered texture and the bottom has a brushed texture. They measure 1.5cm wide and 2cm long. The total drop measurement from the top of the ear hook to the bottom of the earring is 3.2cm long
🤍Oblong dimple texture. These earrings have a dimple texture that is applied with a jewellers peen hammer. They measure 2cm long and 1cm wide. The total drop measurement from the top of the ear hook to the bottom of the earring is 3.5cm long
🤍 Circular rough hammered texture. These earrings are textured using a hammer with a rough head. They measure 1.7cm in diameter.
The total drop measurement from the top of the ear hook to the bottom of the earring is 3cm long.
🤍 Square textured pattern. The pattern is applied using a jewellers hammer and a diamond bur in my dremel tool.
They measure 2cm x 1.5cm The total drop measurement from the top of the ear hook to the bottom of the earring is 3.3cm long.
🤍 Hammered tear drop. The pattern on these earrings is applied using a small peen hammer. This hammer applies a dimpled effect.
The teardrop measures 2.2cm long and 1.5cm wide.
The total drop of the earring from the top of the ear hook to the bottom of the teardrop is 3.3cm long.
The ear hook is soldered to the back of the teardrop making the earring all one piece.
🤍Textured oblong style. The pattern on these earrings is applied using a metal stamp.
The oblong component measures 2.3cm long and 8mm wide.
The total drop of the earrings from the top of the ear hook to the bottom of the oblong component measures 4.4cm in length
The ear hook is soldered to the back of the oblong component making the earring all one piece.
