This pendant is made from recycled copper and enamel.
The large disc is hand cut from recycled copper sheet.
The front of the pendant is enamelled with transparent golden enamel. Once fired and cooled I’ve added lumps of crackle enamel and layers of enamel powders in shades of green and yellow.
These layers are all fired together in my kiln at 800 degrees, the crackle lumps, when fired , settle into the base and help spread the powdered enamel to form the pattern that is visible on this pendant.
The pendant measures 3.5cm in diameter ( the size of a 50cent piece )
The pendant hangs on a tiny blue glass seed beads.
The total length of the seed bead chain is 45cm long
