Wild Heather – Rhodonite & Moonstone Pendant
This one-of-a-kind pendant features Rhodonite, chosen for its soft dusky pink tones that immediately reminded me of the wild purple heather growing across the moors of Cumbria in the north of England, where I grew up. That memory became the inspiration for the name Wild Heather.
I’ve hand wrapped the stone in copper, with flowing lines, a handwoven bail and a small Moonstone accent that complements the design without taking attention away from the rhodonite. The copper has been heavily oxidised, polished by hand and sealed to highlight the detail in the wirework while creating a rich, timeworn finish.
Like every piece of Rhodonite, no two stones are ever the same, making Wild Heather a truly one-of-a-kind pendant.
