Original Handmade Watercolour Bookmarks I Wattle Collection

Inspired by the beautiful wattle trees growing just across the road from my home, this collection celebrates the joyful bursts of golden blooms that brighten the landscape each year. I love the way the vibrant golden flowers dance against the soft blue sky, and I wanted to capture that feeling through loose, expressive abstract painting.
Each bookmark begins as part of one original painting, created on a single sheet of 200gsm watercolour paper using layers of watercolour and soft pastels. Rather than painting each piece individually, I allow the artwork to flow freely across the page before carefully cutting it into greeting cards, bookmarks and gift tags. Every piece carries its own unique composition while remaining connected to the original artwork.
Because these bookmarks are created as an ongoing collection, no two are ever exactly alike. While your bookmark will feature the same beautiful palette and abstract style shown in the photographs, the composition will vary slightly, making your bookmark a truly one-of-a-kind piece of original art.
