Each card begins as an original mixed media artwork, layered with soft peach tones, rich copper accents, expressive brushstrokes and delicate botanical marks. The warm copper details catch the light beautifully, adding depth and a subtle shimmer that changes as the artwork is viewed.
My Creative Process
This collection is created in a unique way. Rather than painting one card at a time, I work across a full sheet of professional watercolour paper, carefully measuring each artwork before I begin. Moving freely from one piece to the next allows the paint, marks and colour to flow naturally across the page. It's an energetic, intuitive process that creates movement, connection and spontaneity, giving each artwork its own personality while still belonging to the collection.
Each finished artwork is then carefully mounted onto a recycled cardstock greeting card, transforming it into a one-of-a-kind piece that can be enjoyed as both a thoughtful greeting card and a miniature artwork ready to frame.
Whether gifted as a thank you, thinking of you, congratulations or simply because, these little originals are designed to be treasured long after the occasion has passed.
