Created from a gorgeous funky abstract graffiti top (this one was in my own wardrobe, you know, one of those things you no longer wear but can't bring yourself to give to the op shop), this large soft hobo bag is a quirky individual.

It is lined with rich red shiny fabric cut from a dance skirt provided by a friend (sparkles on the pocket). Inside you will find a zip pocket on the back wall and a double slip pocket on the front wall. It closes with a magnetic snap in a silver colour.

My hobo bags are quite big - about 35 cm x 28 cm, so they hold quite a lot.

The wide comfortable strap is long enough to wear the bag across your body, then it sits on your hip (it is 100cm). Alternatively, you could wear it on one shoulder if you prefer.

I have named this design ‘Sadie Jane’ after a school friend when I was young.
