Macrame bracelet made with 1mm waxed polyester cording in the colour Navy Blue with 6mm sized beads. This beautiful bracelet holds three different crystals: Lepidolite, Labradorite and Moonstone.
The name that kept coming up for this bracelet was Penelope. Originally named Persephone, after the Goddess of the Spring and new life, growth, but for some reason it just never really sat well with me. For a while now, I'd been noticing that the name Penelope started rolling off the tongue whenever I would speak about this piece. Then as time went on I kept thinking "why does the name Penelope sound so familiar?" And then it occurred to me "Oh my god, of course!! Wife of Odysseus!!" Now I don't know about you, but I always thought she was an absolute bad-ass woman, as well as a woman of immense integrity. She had to deal with a husband who wasn't able to come home to her for twenty years; running her country and fighting off all the vultures that wanted to take her husband's place purely out of greed and lust for power; all while raising a child and remaining true and loyal to her husband, son and people at the same time. I don't think you can get any more bad-ass than that! This bracelet is named in honour of this incredibly strong, brave and devoted woman; and my hope is that this piece also helps you to bring out and channel your own inner bad-ass too!
Lepidolite:
Lepidolite is praised far and wide for its miraculous mood-stabilising properties. Also known as “the stone of transition”.
