Description
Macrame bracelet made with 1mm waxed polyester cording in the colour Vanilla, with 6mm sized beads. This beautiful bracelet holds three different crystals: Dark Green Jade, Carnelian and Citrine.
This bracelet is inspired by the character of Fiona in the Dreamworks film "Shrek". 2022 I was lying in bed, and was in the process of doing my night-time meditation exercises to help me get to sleep. While doing my practice, the song "All Star" by Smash Mouth came into my head. As the song persisted in my mind, I then found myself thinking of Fiona and suddenly the colour scheme came to me! Now something that had me stumped at the time was which colour cording to use; the colours I had were Dark Chocolate, Amethyst and Vanilla. Not knowing which colour would best suit it I put it out on my Facebook page as well as my Instagram and put it down to a vote, and the vote was unanimous. The cording I would use was Vanilla. The cord just made the colours of the beads really pop, and I am extremely happy with how this design turned out as well. The Green Jade represents the colour of her dress, the Carnelian represents her hair, and the Citrine represents her tiara as well as the gold trimmings on her dress.
Dark Green Jade:
This stone is associated with life force, harmony, love, healing, and other wonderful qualities that it can inspire in your life. It symbolises well-being and longevity, and is connected to the wood element. Jade also symbolises prosperity, success and good luck! Carnelian:
A stabilising stone, Carnelian restores vitality and motivation, and stimulates creativity. It gives courage, promotes positive life choices, dispels apathy and motivates for success. Carnelian is useful for overcoming abuse of any kind. Can come in a very deep red-brown colour to a very opaque orange colour. Associated with the Sacral Chakra.
Citrine:
Citrine has been referred to as the "success stone," "merchant's stone" or "money stone." Because of its yellow color, citrine is thought of as a joyous stone with sunshiny energy to brighten up the lives of those who work with it and wear it. The meaning of Citrine is focused on prosperity, joy, and energy. It promotes motivation, activates creativity and encourages self-expression. Enhances concentration and revitalises the mind.
