Layered washes of violet, indigo, smoky blue, and muted plum form an atmospheric abstract landscape, divided by a luminous band of soft blue. The pigments have naturally bloomed, separated, and settled across the paper, creating rich organic textures and small areas of untouched white that appear like distant fragments of light.
Painted slowly and intuitively by hand in my Melbourne home studio, “Where Evening Gathered” is a true one-of-a-kind original artwork. No prints or reproductions have been made.
