“Beneath The Surface” is an original abstract watercolour artwork created intuitively using layered washes of deep blue, turquoise, and crimson pigment.

Each piece begins without a fixed plan, allowing the water, paint, and natural movement of the pigments to guide the final composition organically. I work slowly in layers, building texture, softness, and depth through the natural flow and drying process of watercolour. This creates delicate details and patterns that can never be exactly replicated, making every artwork completely one of a kind.

This piece was painted by hand in my Melbourne home studio using professional watercolour paints on heavyweight textured watercolour paper.
