This 100 x 100mm mixed media piece is made from 100% Japanese cotton fabric scraps, magenta sari silk, embroidered tablecloth pieces and the most beautiful 'jewelled' bird that was a brooch in a former life, along with the sweet flowers which is one of a pair of earrings.

These pieces are all stitched together using vintage magenta embroidery floss, with the wrapper too sweet to not include! All beautifully displayed on a stretched canvas then mounted on a fabric base made from azumino cotton in a rich teal, ready to hang.

This would be a beautiful way of giving flowers that last forever!
