Ahh the humble tea towel! Mum loved linen tea towels and was forever buying them and I am still using some of them today!
This tea towel is a generous size (50cm x 70cm), 100% linen, pre washed, hemmed, and has a hanging loop sewn in.
Hand embroidered in style that is inspired by Japanese sashiko, this is a freestyle design, ie no pattern used, in rainbow colours that looks like a mini landscape complete with morning sun and a couple of birds!
Threads used are 100% cotton, and every stitch is done by me!
It's a unique one of a kind item that's not too pretty to be used! It would be a lovely gift for any occasion, but I'm thinking it would be beautiful as a lovely housewarming gift.
