What to do with vintage buttons, silk thread, and cotton fabric? Make a brooch of course and if you love chickens, this one is definitely for you!!

This cutie is made with vintage bits and bobs - a shiny heart, a slice of timber, and most especially the chicken ... all stitched onto some cotton fabric sashiko style, and finished with vintage red silk thread for some extra colour, then attached to an antique-style brass kilt pin. A statement for sure!!

Add to your coat, jumper, or shirt. Or you could add to a bag, hat or scarf. It will look great no matter what you add it to!

The pin itself is approx 70 mm wide and drops approx 80 mm (from top of pin to bottom of fabric).
