When I saw this cotton mushroom fabric, I thought, organic, rustic meets whimsical and wanted to weave with it!

Hand woven on my rigid heddle loom in the Northern Rivers of NSW, I've started with hand ripping the cotton fabric into delicate strips ready to weave with. A great passion of mine, listening to the sound of the fabric ripping! With a crochet cotton and cotton fabric, I've interwoven them, creating a beautifully textured, dimensional finish with a rustic yet refined appeal.

I've woven this into a longer length table runner, suited for a 3m table centre piece or to drop over the ends of a shorter table, a one-of-a-kind, perfect for bohemian artisanal home decor.
