The thoughts we repeat have a way of becoming the stories we believe about ourselves. Over time, familiar patterns of thinking can shape how we respond to challenges, what we believe we're capable of and the expectations we place upon ourselves. Sometimes these patterns serve us well, while others quietly hold us back, leaving us caught in the same cycles without fully recognising why.
Rewire was inspired by the Mental Repetition card from the Whispers of Healing Oracle by Angela Hartfield, illustrated by Josephine Wall. The card explores the influence of repeated thoughts and limiting beliefs, encouraging us to recognise the patterns that no longer support our wellbeing. It reminds us that meaningful change rarely happens through a single moment of realisation. Instead, it develops through awareness, patience and the consistent practice of choosing a different response.
At the heart of this necklace is Porcelain Jasper, a stone traditionally associated with grounding, emotional stability, patience and inner strength. Its natural patterns and earthy colouring reflect the layers of experience that shape who we are, while its grounding symbolism complements the process of creating lasting change.
These qualities connect beautifully with the concept of neuroplasticity, our brain's ability to adapt and reorganise through learning and experience. Just as familiar thought patterns develop through repetition, new ways of thinking can be strengthened through consistent practice. It isn't about forcing ourselves to be positive or pretending difficult emotions don't exist. It's about becoming aware of the stories we repeatedly tell ourselves and recognising that those stories don't always have to remain the same.
There is something particularly fitting about expressing this message through micro macramé. Each individual knot is a small, repeated action that gradually becomes part of a much larger design. Much like changing an established thought pattern, the finished piece is created through patience, repetition and the gradual building of something new.
This necklace is a reminder that the way you've always thought, felt or responded doesn't have to define what comes next. Change takes time, but every moment of awareness creates an opportunity to begin doing things differently.

Handmade Process
Rewire is an original, one-of-a-kind creation, handcrafted through the intricate art of micro macramé. Every knot is individually tied by hand, with the crystal, cord colours and developing design influencing the direction of the finished piece. Rather than following a predetermined pattern, I allow each necklace to evolve naturally, drawing inspiration from the stone itself and the message behind the oracle card.
Created in Dalby, Queensland, each piece represents hours of patient, detailed craftsmanship. From selecting the crystal to tying the final knot, the entire process is completed by me, without machine-made knotwork or mass production.
Care Instructions
To care for your micro macramé necklace, gently clean the cord using a soft cloth dampened with lukewarm water and mild soap when necessary.
Do not submerge your necklace in water, as prolonged exposure may affect the long-term durability of some crystals and jewellery components.
Avoid prolonged exposure to moisture, harsh chemicals, perfumes and cleaning products. When not being worn, store your necklace somewhere clean and dry to help preserve its appearance.
