Life doesn't always move in the direction or at the pace we expect. Sometimes we find ourselves pushing for answers, trying to control outcomes or holding tightly to how we believe things should unfold. Yet there is something to be said for learning when to move forward and when to simply allow things to be.
Ebb & Flow was inspired by the Flow card from the Whispers of Healing Oracle by Angela Hartfield, illustrated by Josephine Wall. The card explores the importance of releasing resistance and recognising that life has its own natural rhythms. Much like the changing tides, there are times for movement, times for stillness and times when the best thing we can do is stop fighting the current.
At the heart of this necklace is Moss Agate, a stone traditionally associated with grounding, emotional balance, growth and new beginnings. Its delicate, moss-like inclusions resemble miniature landscapes, reflecting the quiet resilience of nature and its ability to adapt through changing seasons.
These qualities complement the message behind Ebb & Flow. Growth doesn't always happen through effort or determination. Sometimes it comes from creating space, trusting the process and allowing ourselves to move with life's changes rather than against them.
This necklace is a reminder that we don't need to have everything figured out. There is value in patience, in allowing things to unfold and in recognising that even the quieter moments are part of our journey.

Handmade Process
Ebb & Flow is an original, one-of-a-kind creation, handcrafted through the intricate art of micro macramé. Every knot is individually tied by hand, with the crystal, cord colours and developing design influencing the direction of the finished piece. Rather than following a predetermined pattern, I allow each necklace to evolve naturally, drawing inspiration from the stone itself and the message behind the oracle card.
Created in Dalby, Queensland, each piece represents hours of patient, detailed craftsmanship. From selecting the crystal to tying the final knot, the entire process is completed by me, without machine-made knotwork or mass production.
Care Instructions
To care for your micro macramé necklace, gently clean the cord using a soft cloth dampened with lukewarm water and mild soap when necessary.
Do not submerge your necklace in water, as prolonged exposure may affect the long-term durability of some crystals and jewellery components.
Avoid prolonged exposure to moisture, harsh chemicals, perfumes and cleaning products. When not being worn, store your necklace somewhere clean and dry to help preserve its appearance.
