Our bodies are constantly communicating with us, yet so often we become accustomed to ignoring what they're trying to tell us. We push through exhaustion, dismiss discomfort and convince ourselves that we can rest once everything else has been taken care of. Over time, it becomes easy to lose touch with the very signals that are asking us to slow down and pay attention.
Attuned was inspired by the Listen to Your Body card from the Whispers of Healing Oracle by Angela Hartfield, illustrated by Josephine Wall. The card explores the importance of recognising the connection between our physical, emotional and mental wellbeing. It encourages us to become more aware of what our bodies are communicating, rather than continually overriding those messages in the pursuit of everything we believe needs to be done.
At the heart of this necklace is Lapis Lazuli, a stone traditionally associated with wisdom, self-awareness, truth and inner clarity. Its rich blue colouring, often scattered with golden flecks of pyrite, has long been valued as a symbol of insight and understanding.
These qualities complement the message behind Attuned. Learning to recognise our own needs requires honesty, awareness and a willingness to acknowledge when something isn't working. It means understanding that rest isn't something we need to earn, and that listening to ourselves is just as important as meeting the expectations of the world around us.
This necklace is a reminder to pay attention to the quieter messages, to respect your own limits and to recognise that caring for yourself begins with listening.

Handmade Process
Attuned is an original, one-of-a-kind creation, handcrafted through the intricate art of micro macramé. Every knot is individually tied by hand, with the crystal, cord colours and developing design influencing the direction of the finished piece. Rather than following a predetermined pattern, I allow each necklace to evolve naturally, drawing inspiration from the stone itself and the message behind the oracle card.
Created in Dalby, Queensland, each piece represents hours of patient, detailed craftsmanship. From selecting the crystal to tying the final knot, the entire process is completed by me, without machine-made knotwork or mass production.
Care Instructions
To care for your micro macramé necklace, gently clean the cord using a soft cloth dampened with lukewarm water and mild soap when necessary.
Do not submerge your necklace in water, as prolonged exposure may affect the long-term durability of some crystals and jewellery components.
Avoid prolonged exposure to moisture, harsh chemicals, perfumes and cleaning products. When not being worn, store your necklace somewhere clean and dry to help preserve its appearance.
