Make a wish on these pretty earrings. They're hand crafted with polymer clay and a silk screen print. The clay is conditioned (made soft and pliable) by passing it through a pasta machine ( yes, my top tool for the polymer process) until it's smooth and shiny. I laid a silk screen onto the top of the clay then spread acrylic paint, in a light layer onto the screen. The result is a lovely clear design which I then cut into the desired shapes, bake, sand and finish with clear UV resin. I then carefully select the best findings, in this case a simple, hammered, stainless steel stud to let the beauty of the design shine through.
