This pendant is made from recycled copper and enamel.
The large disc is hand cut from recycled copper sheet. Once the shape is made I’ve domed the disc using a doming block and punch.
The front of the pendant is enamelled with a white base. Once fired and cooled I’ve added lumps of glass in shades of blue and green and a sprinkle of transparent water blue. The pendant is then fired again until the glass lumps and the transparent blue enamel powder are fused to the white base.
The back of the pendant is enamelled with black enamel powder.
The pendant measures 3.5cm in diameter ( the size of a 50cent piece )
The pendant hangs on a tiny teal blue glass seed beads.
The total length of the seed bead chain is 47cm long
