Velvet Eclipse – Handmade Polymer Clay Earrings

Inspired by the Art of Mokume Gane
The intricate patterns within the Velvet Eclipse Collection are created using my own adaptation of the traditional Japanese Mokume Gane technique.
Originally developed as a decorative metalworking art, Mokume Gane is celebrated for its beautiful layered patterns that resemble flowing woodgrain.
By adapting this technique to polymer clay, I create delicate layers of contrasting colours that reveal beautiful, organic swirls and intricate details.
Tiny holographic accents are incorporated into the design, catching the light at different angles and adding a subtle, unexpected sparkle.
Because the patterns emerge through the creative process, no two pairs are ever exactly alike.
